This is for puppies that have had their second inoculation and up to 4 months of age.

 

You don't need to wait for the start of a course, you can start any Sunday. At each class the puppies will be working on skills and building up their confidence over these 4 lessons. The sooner you can get your puppy into class, the better. They will socialize with the other puppies, go around an obstacle course, learn to focus on their owner, as well as being taught to be calm, listen to noises and do a little bit of stand, sit and down. At the first lesson, owners will be given a short talk on house training, chewing, biting and other puppy problems. After the first lesson, owners will receive a link to video blogs on what has has been taught in the lesson.

 

TIME: Sunday Lesson 1 - 8:30

                         Lesson 2, 3 & 4 - 9:30

THERE ARE ENCLOSURES IN THIS AREA. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE GPS WILL TRY TO BRING YOU IN THROUGH SANDTON DRIVE AND MARIE AVE AND THERE IS A GATE. YOU WILL NEED TO PRINT OUT THE MAP AND FOLLOW THAT SO YOU DON'T GET LOST. 

The only way into the enclosed area is to turn down Gordon Road, off Empire Place. Go down the slight hill and then turn going down Lilian Ave. Go down one road and turn left into 1st Street. 92 is near the end of the road. There is a sign that says K C Dog School.

 

PLEASE NOTE:

Only puppies may attend these classes - NO OTHER DOGS over 4 months.

INTERNET PAYMENTS ARE APPRECIATED PRIOR TO THE CLASS AND SEND PROOF OF PAYMENT TO KATHY. OTHERWISE CASH ON THE DAY.

 

Once a puppy is 4 months or over they then move on to the 4 week basic home obedience course. These are also held at 92 1st Street Parkmore / Lower Sandhurst.

 

Puppy Kindergarten Rules: 

 

• All dogs coming in to this garden MUST have some form of tick and flea protection. 

• On the dog's first lesson, please bring the puppy's vet certificate, to show that at least one innoculation has been given. You can send a scanned copy via email before the 1st lesson.

• A "Poop Scoop" is available at each lesson. If your puppy has to go, then please use the scoop to clean up. 

• During COVID 19 it is preferable to leave small children at home. They are not allowed to run around the garden, and they get bored when having to sit still for long periods of time.
